About Us
Mick & Jake Jewelry Designs and the mickandjake.com Web site rest on the creativity and vision of Jill Saltzman, who is both the company President and Chief Designer.
Jill began her career in New York City as a personal shopper and wardrobe consultant. Her business soon branched out and by 1984, she owned her own clothing store in northern California.
Having been brought up by a father who was both a jewelry designer and salesman, she naturally moved into the retail jewelry business and began to experiment with her own designs.
Twenty years later, Jill lives in Connecticut with her husband and two sons. She spends most of her time designing the elegant-yet-casual necklaces, bracelets and earrings displayed on
the mickandjake.com Web site. Her jewelry is showcased in multiple discerning local establishments and can often be seen adorning TV and movie personalities.
Mick & Jake Jewelry Designs is named after Jill's two sons: Mick, 17 and Jake, 12.
